New year coming, new ideas?
Posted by Yit Chin Chuan, NLB, Singapore     Posted on 12/22/2006

While the new year is rushing towards us, do we have new ideas that we can share with the rest of our friends in the interlending world?  If you do, please remember to submit your presentation proposals to the conference, as we need to clear with our committee for selection and acceptance to the conference.

This section on future directions is really aimed to provide us with a platform to let our ideas run wild and test out new proposals.  So don`t hold back, even if some of your ideas are still in its infant stages, it could still be good enough to spark off interests and potential collaborations.

So where do we go from here?

Seriously, ILDS has not always hogged the limelight, are there opportunities for us to explore further and enhance ILDS service to a different level?

Check out these and related issues by attending the coming conference!  We have invited Ms Ngian Lek Choh of NLB to share with us some new developments that the National Library of Singapore are exploring in this regard.

Better still, share with us your viewpoints and comments on this topic and we may be able to put them for debate and discussion in the coming conference!
