Posted by Yit Chin Chuan, NLB, Singapore     Posted on 4/26/2007
Mike McGrath  will cover the current state of play in document supply and related developments. The paper will draw on the Literature Review that he writes as editor of Interlending & Document Supply. This review is based on the reading of over 150 LIS journals, as well as websites, etc. Areas covered in the paper will include copyright, end user empowerment, open access, journal usage, big deals, mass digitisation and generally the trend in document supply worldwide. He will draw on his  experience of marketing document supply at the British Library, as well as editing ILDS for the last five years.

What's the latest in interlending & document supply?
Posted by Janice Chia, National Library Board, Singapore     Posted on 11/27/2006

To set the stage for the 10th ILDS conference, this first part of the programme intends to showcase the many efforts undertaken by the different libraries and institutions pertaining to interelending and document supply services.

We have invited Mike McGrath to be our first keynote speaker. I am sure Mike is no stranger to many of us- he is the editor of the journal Interlending and Document Supply, and is also known to be the guru in the field of Document Supply.

In his keynote address, Mike will give us an overview of the developments that took place in recent years and have affected the way we do document delivery services.

So share with us if you should come across any interesting projects implemented by libraries or instutions recently.

Can`t wait to hear from you!
